The Breadth of the Founders Vision
We Founders have always attributed the breadth of our vision for the sorority (as we called it then) to the fact that seven of the ten were either Universalist or Unitarian, two liberal churches. The Universalist attitude towards all life, so rapidly coming to the fore in the thought of all leaders of whatever department of life you may name, was the settled attitude of the founders from the beginning. To me this fact ought to be of more interest to all Alphas than the 1893 items about pin, colors, flower, very interesting as they are.
