Two distinctive pieces of jewelry are worn by the National President: the National President's Ring, which is created for each National President, and the National President's Medallion, which is passed on and worn by each National President during her term of office. The National President's Ring has an oval face and features the Gavel and the Coat of Arms in the center and the words "Alpha Xi Delta Fraternity Founded 1893" around the outside. Only present and past National Presidents may wear the National President's Ring.
