10K Gold Quill Badge with Three Pearls, c. 1916

A 10k gold Quill badge with three pearls featuring a guard for Lambda Chapter from Tufts University with nine pearls. This badge belonged to Marion Hill Merrill, a 1916 initiate of Lambda chapter, but it is engraved with 1919 on the back of the Quill to signify her graduation year. Also engraved on the back of the Quill is the Greek letter Lambda.

Recognition Quill

This recognition quill pin features a gold quill with a single pearl. In the past, Alpha Xi Delta members could purchase recognition quills with a jeweled accent, such as the pearl seen here. These jeweled recognition quills are no longer available.

10K Gold Quill Badge with 19 Pearls and 1 Diamond, c. 1920

This unique badge features one diamond at the point of the Quill and 19 pearls. This badge belonged to Margaret Sutherland, a 1920 initiate of Nu Chapter at the University of Washington. The back is engraved with '23 to signify her graduation year and the Greek letter Nu.

10K Gold 15-Pearl Quill Badge, c. 1944

A 10k gold Quill badge with 15 pearls featuring a guard for Gamma Chapter from the University of Mount Union that belonged to Evelyn McKenzie, a 1944 initiate of Gamma Chapter. It is engraved on the back with the date "Feb. 20 1944" and the Greek letter Gamma.
